Regularly Asked Questions and Answers:
Q: Do I need to register my child(ren) in advance?
A: Yes, due to staffing needs and supply needs, we must know in advance
if your child is attending.
Q: Are scholarships available?
A: We are using a sliding scale approach to help subsidize the expense for
families who cannot afford the full fee. Scholarships are built into ALL
FEES. There is no fee charged that actually covers the expense of the
program for an individual child.
Q: Why are higher fees necessary?
A: There are many reasons that the Club has moved to a sliding scale
fee structure:
*Increased general costs for operations – including mandatory sick leave, higher healthcare costs, higher supply costs
*Investments in training and educating staff have increased dramatically over the past several years, the fee structure has never kept up with costs.
*Increased number of personnel required in order to keep staff and children safe including sanitizing, deep cleaning, check in / check out.
*Increased reporting requirements
The Club does not receive government funds, school district funds, or other tax based resources – we are dependent on giving in the community to provide low cost programs for your children. COVID-19 (for a time) eliminated, our ability to fundraise / create revenue to support the organization.
Q: What about foster families?
A: As always, we do not charge fees for service to foster children. This
is thanks to a generous local donor!
Q: When is payment due?
A: The Club’s programs are all pay in advance – we do not have a billings
office (although currently we are sending out courtesy weekly/monthly
invoices via email). You must pay for the weeks/month you need access
by the Thursday before the week/month registered. You will receive an
invoice via email as soon as is feasibly possible (usually the Tuesday prior
to due date). Please pay in a timely manner.
